ANNOUNCING OUR FIRST ANNUAL
BOO-ZY BAKEOFF COMPETITION
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23RD
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
In memory of our Founder's mother, who loved cooking and baking with her grandson Henry, we proudly host the Boo-zy Bakeoff. This public event is both fun & educational, and proceeds from the event fundraise for the Pamela F. Nollen Memorial Scholarship at St. Philip's Episcopal School in Beeville, Texas. The public is invited to participate as either a competitor, vote on your favorite winner, or purchase baked goods in our silent auction.

SCHEDULE
10:00 a.m. – The Grant Building opens & registration/check-in begins
10:00 a.m. – Noon – Contestants set up
Noon – Contestants must have table ready if participating in People’s Choice Award
Noon – 2:00 p.m. – Public tasting & voting for People's Choice Award
12:30 p.m. – Entries due to judging table
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Judging
2:00 p.m. – Votes and score cards collected
2:30 p.m. – Winners announced and prizes awarded
2:30 p.m. - Silent Auction ends
3:00 p.m. – Event ends
3:30 p.m. - All silent auction payments due
*Any remaining leftover desserts from the judging table or not purchased at silent auction will be donated to local first responders and Christus Spohn Hospital staff in gratitude for their service & sacrifice.
